اعترض مسلح المدعو م. م. أثناء قيادته “فانًا” لنقل الركاب في منطقة الليلكي وأطلق النار باتجاه صدره، ما أدى إلى وفاته قبل وصوله إلى مستشفى السان جورج في الحدت، بحسب الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام.
